Timeline
This is a summary guide of the time spent on this study:
24/10/12 - Research an example of loss of biodiversity. I focused on oceans and how climate change is affecting the temperatures.
27/10/12 - Research
30/10/12 - Research
1/11/12 - Generate a key question relating to a loss of biodiversity due to the effects of climate change. I wanted to keep it relevant to Australia so I chose to study the Great Barrier Reef. My key question was 'how will the rise in temperature in the ocean affect the marine life of the Great Barrier Reef?'
5/11/12 - Develop further questions that come from your key question.
The further questions that I developed were:
- What factors make the temperature of the ocean rise?
- How much has the temperature of the Great Barrier Reef risen?
- What marine life in the Great Barrier Reef would be affected by the rise of temperature and how?
- How would the affect on marine life of the Breat Barrier Reef affec us?
- How can we keep the temperatures of the oceans from rising?
12/11/12 - Research the answers to my questions.
13/11/12- Research the answers to my questions.
14/11/12- Research the answers to my questions.
16/11/12 - Research the answers to my question.
17/11/12 - Formualte a 5 year action plan for addressing the problem that can be presented to the Earth Summit 2017: Rio +25.
18/11/12 - Continue to formulate action plan.
19//11/12 - Think about pratical action to complete myself to help solve the problem. I chose to create this website to spread awareness of the issue.
20/11/12 - Start creating and forming my report.
22/11/12 - Work on report.
23/11/12 - Work on report.
25/11/12 - Work on report.
26/11/12 - Finalise website.
27/11/12 - Publish website which includes all elements of my report, research and findings.
