Introduction
Australia's Great Barrier Reef, one of the wonders of the natural world, is greatly threatened due to climate change. As climate change has warmed the Earth, oceans have responded more slowly than land environments. However, scientific research is finding that marine ecosystems can be far more sensitive to even the most modest temperature change.
The effects of climate change on the Great Barrier Reef can greatly damage and threaten the marine life in number of ways which will be explored on this site.
